Description complète
Atari 2600+: original Atari cartridges, on an HDMI TV
The Atari 2600+ is the official re-release of the 1980 Atari console, at 80% of its size. It plays original Atari 2600 and 7800 cartridges as well as new Atari cartridges, and displays them on a modern TV via HDMI, in 4:3 or 16:9. Two editions: the standard edition, with a wired CX40+ joystick and a 10-game cartridge, and the yellow PAC-MAN edition, with a wireless joystick and the PAC-MAN: Double Feature cartridge.
What it does
- Plays 2600 and 7800 cartridges: originals, including third-party publishers, and new Atari cartridges; the manufacturer publishes a compatibility list.
- HDMI output: cable included, display in 4:3 or 16:9.
- DB9 controller ports: original Atari joysticks and paddles plug in, as do today's CX40+ joysticks and CX30+ paddles.
- Widened cartridge slot: to reduce cartridges catching on insertion.
- Two editions: standard (wired CX40+ joystick, 10-in-1 cartridge) or PAC-MAN (yellow console with light-up characters on the front, wireless CX40+ joystick, PAC-MAN: Double Feature cartridge).
What it doesn't do
- It's not a vintage console: cartridges are read through emulation (Stella for the 2600, ProSystem for the 7800), and a few titles are missing from the manufacturer's compatibility list.
- No games in memory: you play with the included cartridge and your own cartridges.
- No USB data port or card reader: the console only reads cartridges.
- The USB mains adapter is not included, only the USB-C cable is.
- Only one joystick in the box: two-player games require a second joystick, sold separately.
- The CX40+ joystick has only one button: for 7800 games designed for two buttons, a CX78+ controller is better suited.
- 16:9 mode stretches the picture of games designed in 4:3.
Compatibility
Original Atari 2600 and Atari 7800 cartridges, including most third-party games, and new Atari cartridges. The manufacturer publishes a compatibility list: a few titles are missing from it. Getting started

Standard edition: the wired joystick plugs straight into the DB9 port. PAC-MAN edition: plug the DB9 wireless adapter into the controller port and charge the joystick via USB-C.

Your cartridges, without hunting down a vintage console
An original Atari 2600 is more than forty years old, and its RF output doesn't play well with recent TVs. The 2600+ keeps the cartridge format and the original DB9 ports, but outputs the picture via HDMI. The 2600 and 7800 cartridges that were gathering dust in a box get a screen again, in 4:3 as back in the day or in 16:9.
Standard or PAC-MAN: two boxes, two joysticks
The standard edition takes on the look of the 1980 console, with a wired CX40+ joystick and a ten-game cartridge, including Adventure and Missile Command. The PAC-MAN edition dresses the console in yellow, lights up PAC-MAN and the ghosts on the front, and comes with a matching wireless joystick and the PAC-MAN: Double Feature cartridge.
An official re-release, with its limits
The 2600+ is an official Atari console, but it reads cartridges through emulation: the manufacturer keeps a compatibility list, and a few titles are missing from it. No games in memory and no USB port: it lives on cartridges. Joysticks, paddles and new Atari cartridges can be added later, as you like.

Frequently Asked Questions
🕹️ Do my original Atari cartridges work?
Yes, the vast majority: the 2600+ plays Atari 2600 and 7800 cartridges, including third-party ones. It works through emulation, and the manufacturer publishes a compatibility list from which a few titles are missing.
🎨 What's the difference between the two editions?
The standard edition takes on the look of the 1980 console, with a wired CX40+ joystick and a 10-game cartridge. The PAC-MAN edition is yellow, with PAC-MAN and the ghosts lit up on the front, a matching wireless CX40+ joystick and the PAC-MAN: Double Feature cartridge.
📦 Which games are included?
Standard edition: a 10-in-1 cartridge with Adventure, Combat, Dodge 'Em, Haunted House, Maze Craze, Missile Command, RealSports Volleyball, Surround, Video Pinball and Yars' Revenge. PAC-MAN edition: the PAC-MAN: Double Feature cartridge, which combines the 1982 PAC-MAN 2600 and a new arcade-style PAC-MAN 7800 version.
🔌 Is the mains adapter included?
No. The USB-C cable is included, the USB mains adapter is not. A USB phone adapter will do the job.
👥 Can two people play?
Yes, by adding a second CX40+ joystick or an original Atari joystick with a DB9 connector. Only one joystick is included in the box.
💾 Can you load games from a USB stick or a card?
No. The 2600+ has neither a USB data port nor a card reader: it only plays cartridges.
🚚 What are the delivery times?
Delivery in 10 to 18 days, ships within 3 to 5 days. Above €150, delivery is made to a pickup point.
🛡️ Which guarantee applies?
2-year legal guarantee of conformity. 14-day returns.
Why buy here rather than on a marketplace
It is a fair question. Here is the answer, straight.
Every listing is checked before publication: real compatibility, material, dimensions, box contents. Many models never make it into the catalogue.

The 2-year legal warranty of conformity is handled by us — not by a form on the other side of the world. And 14 days to change your mind, with no need to justify yourself.
We do not claim to be the cheapest. We claim that you will know exactly what you are buying before you pay.
