TrimUI models: for whom?

  • TrimUI Smart Pro — ~4.96", IPS laminated under glass : versatile 8/16 bit + PS1, Wi-Fi for updates , USB-C for charging . Recommended if you play at home and on the go. (longer sessions, superior readability).
  • TrimUI Brick — ~3.2", mini format (pocket): excellent 2D rendering (NES/ nes , SNES, GB/GBC/GBA, NGP /NGPC) and PS1. Ideal for quick games on the go.

⚡ Which TrimUI is the most powerful?

TrimUI Smart Pro and TrimUI Brick share a recent platform (A133P + 1GB RAM). They offer excellent performance on 2D/PS1 retro games and good results on PSP/N64/Dreamcast (depending on the game and settings). GameCube/Wii are not realistic targets.

🗂️ Storage & ROMs

TrimUI models have internal storage and/or a microSD slot . The Brick accepts microSD cards up to 1TB . Load your save files/BIOS/legal ROMs via USB or microSD, depending on the model.

  • Smart Pro : ~ 5000 mAh battery, up to ~5 hours depending on usage.
  • Brick : battery ~ 3000 mAh , approximately 4–5 hours typical.

Power consumption varies depending on the emulator, brightness, and Wi-Fi.

🌐 Streaming (PC/Cloud)

Possible with certain apps/solutions on Smart Pro , but latency and configuration issues limit its usefulness for action games. Adequate for turn-based/management games. If streaming is your priority, opt for Android handhelds instead.
