Manette sans fil Anbernic RG G01 à gâchettes effet Hall avec écran IPS intégré, visuel 5
Description complète

RG G01: a controller that shows what it is doing

The RG G01 is a wireless controller with Hall effect triggers, fitted with a small IPS screen that displays its settings without going through any software. Three connection modes, 1,000 Hz both wired and over 2.4 GHz, and a battery stated at 21 hours.

What it does

  • Three connections: wired over USB-C, wireless over 2.4 GHz with the receiver included, or Bluetooth 5.0.
  • 1,000 Hz: wired and over 2.4 GHz. The controller polls its inputs a thousand times a second.
  • Hall effect triggers: no mechanical contact to wear out, and a two-position travel lock to switch from an analogue trigger to a crisp click.
  • Four rear macros: programmable, to move actions away without letting go of the sticks.
  • Built-in screen: a 2.5D curved IPS panel shows the settings directly on the controller.
  • 2,100 mAh: 21 hours stated by the manufacturer, full charge in 2 hours.

What it doesn't do

  • Over Bluetooth, the polling rate drops back to 180 Hz. The 1,000 Hz is only available wired and over 2.4 GHz: that is the point to know before relying on Bluetooth in competitive play.
  • The heart rate tracking shown on the screen is a convenience feature. It is not a medical device and must not be used for any health purpose.
  • At 615 g stated by the manufacturer, this is not a light controller. If weight matters to you, compare first.
  • Haptic feedback and a motion sensor do not appear in the manufacturer's documentation: we do not promise them.
  • The 21 hours of battery life is a manufacturer figure. We have not measured it.

Compatibility

The manufacturer states PC, Steam, Linux, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, Android and iOS. The 2.4 GHz mode goes through the receiver included; Bluetooth 5.0 is mainly for mobile platforms. On PlayStation and Xbox home consoles, no compatibility is stated: do not count on it.

Getting to grips with it

Nothing to install. The 2.4 GHz link is made by plugging in the receiver included, Bluetooth through the system's usual pairing, wired through the USB-C cable. The settings go through the built-in screen, with no software to download — which is precisely the point of this screen compared with controllers that require a proprietary app on PC.

The Hall effect, and what it really changes

A classic trigger relies on a contact potentiometer: the track wears out, and after a few hundred hours the travel becomes irregular or the trigger fires on its own. A Hall effect trigger reads a magnetic field, with no friction. So there is nothing to wear out at that spot. It is the same logic as the Hall sticks added to handheld consoles to fix drift, applied here to the triggers.

A screen rather than software

Most controllers that offer macros and trigger curves require a proprietary app, often Windows only, sometimes abandoned after two years. The RG G01 moves these settings onto a small built-in IPS screen: what can be adjusted stays adjustable on Android, on Linux or on a Steam Deck, without depending on a piece of software surviving. The screen also shows heart rate tracking, to be taken for what it is: a convenience gadget, not a measuring instrument.

The figures we have not checked

The 1,000 Hz, the 21 hours, the 2,100 mAh and the 615 g are figures stated by Anbernic on its official page. We repeat them because they are documented at the source, not because we have measured them. The 180 Hz of Bluetooth mode comes from the same page: it is a figure that most resellers pass over in silence and that matters if you are after responsive play. Product page checked on 24/08/2026.

Frequently Asked Questions

📶 Does the 1,000 Hz also work over Bluetooth?

No. The manufacturer states 1,000 Hz wired and over 2.4 GHz, but 180 Hz over Bluetooth 5.0. For responsive play, stay on the 2.4 GHz receiver or on the cable.

🎮 Is it compatible with PlayStation or Xbox?

No, no compatibility is stated with Sony or Microsoft home consoles. The manufacturer lists PC, Steam, Linux, Switch, Switch 2, Android and iOS.

🕹️ What do Hall effect triggers bring?

They read a magnetic field instead of rubbing against a track: there is nothing to wear out, so no trigger drift over time. The two-position lock lets you switch from an analogue travel to a short click.

❤️ What is the heart rate tracking for?

It is a display feature on the built-in screen. It is not a medical device and must not be used for any health purpose.

🔋 What is the real battery life?

The manufacturer states 21 hours for 2,100 mAh, with a full charge in 2 hours. We have not measured this figure ourselves.

📦 What is in the box?

The controller, a USB-C cable, a 2.4 GHz receiver, removable stick caps, a smartphone holder and a manual.

🚚 What are the delivery times?

Delivery in 10 to 18 days, ships within 3 to 5 days.

🛡️ What guarantee applies?

2-year legal guarantee of conformity. 14-day returns. Reply within 1 business day.

Why buy here rather than on a marketplace

It is a fair question. Here is the answer, straight.

We verify, they list

Every listing is checked before publication: platforms actually supported, stick technology, connectivity, what the controller does not do. Many models never make it into the catalogue.

Customer service that speaks French

A question, a pairing problem, a return: you write, a human replies within 1 business day. In French.

2-year legal warranty, 14-day returns

The 2-year legal warranty of conformity is handled by us — not by a form on the other side of the world. And 14 days to change your mind, with no need to justify yourself.

The price is comparable, the rest is not

We do not claim to be the cheapest. We claim that you will know exactly what you are buying before you pay.
