It goes the distance
The battery is stated at 1,000 mAh, for around 18 hours of play. At two hours a day, that works out to one charge per week. This is the order of magnitude expected from a controller of this format. The supplied USB cable is used for charging, and the controller stays usable while it charges.
The 6-axis gyroscope, and what it changes
The gyroscope enables motion aiming: you tilt the controller to fine-tune your crosshair, alongside the right stick. Splatoon, Breath of the Wild and Metroid Prime Remastered rely on it. Games that do not support the feature simply ignore the sensor. The Turbo function is programmed button by button: hold down the button you want, then press the Turbo key.
What it is not
This is not an official Pro Controller. It vibrates with conventional motors: no HD haptic feedback, no analog triggers. It does not read amiibo, as there is no NFC chip. Nothing indicates PC or PlayStation compatibility: it is presented as a Nintendo Switch controller. Finally, since the manufacturer is not disclosed, neither the weight nor the dimensions are documented.

Does it work wired on the Switch?
No. The supplied USB cable is a charging cable. The link to the console is made over Bluetooth. Remember to charge the controller before a long session.
Is Turbo mode allowed online?
The console does not block it, but some online games detect automatic fire and may penalize the account. Turbo is mainly useful in single-player and on arcade games.
Does it read amiibo?
No. No NFC chip is stated. To scan an amiibo you need an official Pro Controller or a Joy-Con.
Can it be used on PS5 or Xbox?
No. It is presented as a Nintendo Switch controller (standard model, OLED and Lite). PlayStation and Xbox do not accept third-party Bluetooth controllers without a dedicated adapter.
Is the vibration HD Rumble?
No. This is conventional two-motor vibration, with adjustable intensity. HD Rumble remains exclusive to the Joy-Con and the official Pro Controller.
What is the difference between the black version and the RGB version?
Only the lighting. The RGB version adds colored backlighting; the functions are identical. The price difference is €2.
