A block of stone on twelve keys
Malphite is not big on talking: he walks forward, absorbs the damage and drops from the ceiling the moment nobody is watching. The set works that mineral register — stone grey, pale edges, bluish crystal shards — a cool, low-saturation palette, the opposite of sets that shout. On a black, grey or brushed aluminium keyboard it continues the case instead of sitting on it like a sticker; on a white keyboard the contrast turns harsher. This is a front-line set, for the player who opens the fight and lets the team come through behind him. The Malphite artwork is an original design inspired by the League of Legends universe, with no connection to the game's publisher.
A set that comes off and goes back on often
Anything that goes into a LAN bag gets pulled off and put back on more often than a set fitted once and forgotten, so let's start there. Mounting is on MX cross-stems — pull off a key, and if a raised cross appears on the switch, the set clips onto it: Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu. The supplied puller slides diagonally around the key and then pulls straight up, from above, without opening the keyboard. The OEM profile follows the row-by-row angle of pre-assembled keyboards: each cap goes back on an equivalent row. As for the material, PBT is denser than the factory ABS and keeps its matte grain; dye-sublimated, the dye sits inside the plastic, so nothing chips when you refit it.
What the stone does not cover
A palette this restrained makes you want a whole matching keyboard: that is not this product. Twelve keys dress one area, they do not cover the keyboard, and keys with a manufacturer-specific width are left out. Without an MX cross-stem there is nothing to do: a membrane keyboard, or one with low-profile scissor-mechanism keys, is not concerned. The grey does not light up either: dye-sublimated PBT is opaque, light travels around the key instead of through the pattern. On a keyboard built in the Cherry, XDA or SA profile the height will not sit right. And the Malphite artwork is an original design inspired by the League of Legends universe, with no connection to the game's publisher: not a licensed product.

- Clavier AZERTY ISO : la touche 2U fournie correspond au Retour arrière, pas à la touche Entrée, qui est en L sur un clavier français

What exactly do I get?
What's in the box is stated as 12 keycaps and a puller. The keys are standard size and go wherever you want them, on AZERTY as on QWERTY; keys with a manufacturer-specific width are not covered.
Which keyboard suits this mineral grey?
Stone grey is a background colour, not an accent: it blends into a black, grey or aluminium keyboard and leaves the contrast to the bluish shards. On a white keyboard, the step between your own keys and the set shows up more.
What does the artwork show?
The register is that of rock: fractured material, pale edges and bluish crystal shards spread across the twelve keys. It is an original design, not a game visual reused.
How do I clean them after a trip?
A slightly damp soft cloth is enough, never a solvent. Since the pattern went into the material by dye-sublimation, dust and bag marks come off without risk: nothing to peel, nothing to protect.
Is this an official League of Legends product?
