Irelia, the blades of Ionia on your keyboard
Irelia is played in combos: a duellist who lives on short movements and tight timings, carried by her floating blades. The set keeps that Ionian spirit - clear blue-green water, the steel grey of the blades and a hint of cherry-blossom pink - a gentler range than the usual reds and blacks of gaming hardware. It works on a light keyboard as well as on a grey case, and gets along with a wooden desk where the water green warms the whole thing up. It speaks to the player who drills combos in practice mode and wants something other than a brand logo on the keys they use most.
Typing sound is a question of material
Two identical keyboards do not sound the same depending on the keycaps fitted. PBT is harder and drier than the ABS installed as standard on most keyboards, and that is the character players describe as a slightly flatter, less hollow keystroke than the factory keys give. The same hardness explains why it does not pick up the sticky shine of the most-used keys. Printing changes none of that: dye-sublimation (DYE-SUB) spreads the dye inside the material instead of laying it on top, and your fingernail meets no ridge on the legend. Mounts on MX cross-stem switches (Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu), OEM profile with one height per row, fitted by hand with the supplied puller.
What this set does not change
Changing keycaps does not change your keyboard: the switches, their weight and their actuation point stay yours, and the mechanical keyboard must already be there. The set brings 12 keys for one area, not a full set - the other rows keep their caps. It does not mount on a membrane keyboard, on low-profile keys or on a proprietary stem, only on MX stems. The light tones do not backlight from within either: PBT is opaque and the light passes around the keycap. Finally, this is an illustration inspired by the League of Legends universe, not a licensed product.

Will this set fit my keyboard?
It sits on mechanical keyboards with an MX cross-stem: Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu. Lift one key and check the switch stem: a cross and the set clips on. On a keyboard with a membrane, with low-profile keys or with a proprietary stem, it does not.
What's in the box?
12 keycaps and a keycap puller. The other rows keep their original caps: most players save the Irelia keys for WASD and the ability keys, the ones they chain together most. Keyboard format (60%, TKL, full-size) makes no difference.
How do you clean them?
A slightly damp microfibre cloth, nothing more. The pattern does not fade: it is dye-sublimated (DYE-SUB), with the dye inside the plastic rather than on the surface. PBT also avoids the greasy shine that marks the most-typed ABS keys.
Will these keycaps change how my keyboard sounds?
The keycap is part of what you hear. Moving from the original ABS to PBT, harder and drier, many people describe a slightly flatter keystroke. The feel depends mostly on your switches and your case: the set replaces neither of them, it only changes the surface you strike.
Which keyboards suit these light tones?
Ionian blue-green and steel grey work on a white case as well as a grey one, and sit well with a wooden desk. On a black keyboard the gap is sharper and the block of keys jumps out. Steady cyan or white lighting respects the palette; a multicolour cycle muddles it.
Is this an official League of Legends product?
