Eight colors, and the dock follows
The lighting is what sets this model apart: eight backlight colors, selectable from the controller itself. On a TV unit or a desk set up in RGB, the controller matches the rest of the setup instead of clashing with it. The white shell lets the light through across the whole front face.
Turbo and non-linear triggers
Turbo is programmed button by button: a held press becomes a series of repeated presses, handy on shoot'em ups and arcade games. The supplier also states non-linear triggers on ZL and ZR, meaning a trigger travel whose resistance is not even. The Nintendo Switch does not read an analogue value on these triggers: the difference is in the feel, not in the game.
What it is not
This is not an official Pro controller. No gyroscope is stated: motion aiming in Splatoon or Breath of the Wild will not work. No amiibo reading, no HD haptic feedback. No, no gyroscope is stated. Games that rely on motion aiming, such as Splatoon or Breath of the Wild, will only be playable with the stick.
