What it does best: battery life and the dock
930 mAh, more than triple the Pro version. Dareu states 120 hours of use, around 12 days over 2,4 GHz and 30 days over Bluetooth. The magnetic charging dock is included: the mouse sits on it between sessions and recharges without handling a cable. The dock also carries the RGB lighting. An office and gaming mouse you almost never plug in.
The AIM-WL sensor, and where it caps out
The AIM-WL sensor offers five steps wired and over 2,4 GHz: 400, 800, 1 600 by default, 3 200 and 6 400 DPI, at a 1 000 Hz polling rate. Over Bluetooth the set shrinks: 125 Hz and three steps only, 800, 1 200 and 1 600 DPI. For office work and casual gaming, those values are enough. For low-sensitivity, high-polling-rate FPS, look at the Pro version and its PAW3395.
Who it's not for
It is not for the FPS player who moves the mouse with the whole arm: 88 g is 34 g more than the Pro version for an identical chassis, and you feel it on long swipes. It is not for you either if you are after a high polling rate: it caps at 1 000 Hz where the Pro reaches 4 000 Hz with its 4K receiver. Finally, in Bluetooth use the maximum sensitivity drops to 1 600 DPI, which gets tight on a high-resolution screen.

Why this mouse is in our catalogue
We check every mouse before listing it. Many never make it in.
Every mouse is checked before it enters the catalogue: the sensor actually fitted, the weight on the scales, the shape and the grips it supports, what it does not do. Many models never make it in, because they do not live up to what they announce. What this one can do, and where it stops, is detailed further down this page.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference with the Dareu A950 Pro, sold at a higher price?
The sensor, the weight and the battery. Here: AIM-WL sensor at 6 400 DPI, 88 g, 930 mAh battery and an RGB charging dock included. On the Pro: PixArt PAW3395 at 26 000 DPI, 54 g, 300 mAh battery, 4 000 Hz polling rate, no dock.
Which of the two should you choose?
This one for battery life and the charging dock, in mixed office and gaming use. The Pro if you play competitive FPS and weight and polling rate matter.
Is the charging dock included?
Yes. The magnetic dock ships with the mouse and its USB-C cable. It is the dock that carries the RGB lighting.
What is the maximum sensitivity over Bluetooth?
1 600 DPI. Over Bluetooth, only three steps are available — 800, 1 200 and 1 600 DPI — and the polling rate drops to 125 Hz.
What battery life is stated?
Dareu states 120 hours with the 930 mAh battery: around 12 days over 2,4 GHz and 30 days over Bluetooth.
Does it work on Mac and on Android?
Dareu states Windows, Mac and Android compatibility. The customization driver is stated for Windows.
