TMR and 2,000 Hz: what it changes
The sticks read a change in the magnetic field through tunnel magnetoresistance. As with Hall effect, nothing rubs, so nothing wears out: drift does not appear. Position is sampled at 12-bit and transmitted 2,000 times per second, wired as well as through the 2.4 GHz dongle. The gyroscope reports at 1,000 Hz. This is a controller profile built for shooters.
The triggers are digital
This is the detail most often left unsaid. LT and RT do not measure pressure: they are micro-switch buttons that send 0 or 100%. In a shooter that is an advantage, the shot fires instantly. In a racing game or a flight simulator, where you need to modulate the pedal or the throttle, this controller is not suitable. No setting can bring back analog travel.
What it is not
It works neither on Xbox nor on PlayStation. It does not have four rear paddles: M1 and M2 sit on the back, M3 and M4 on top, near the triggers. There is no 3.5 mm headphone jack. And Bluetooth is not a performance mode: the polling rate drops back to around 125 Hz there. Finally, the Carbon variant offered here does not have TMR sticks, but carbon film sticks.

What is the difference between the TMR version and the Carbon version?
The TMR version uses contactless magnetic sticks that are immune to drift. The Carbon version uses carbon film sticks, meaning classic potentiometers: they wear out over time. Everything else is identical.
Are the triggers analog?
No. LT and RT are digital: they send 0 or 100%, with no pressure sensing. It is a deliberate choice for shooters, but it makes the controller unsuitable for racing games and simulations.
Does it work on Xbox or on PlayStation?
No. BIGBIG WON lists Windows 10 and 11, Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS. No compatibility with Xbox or PlayStation consoles.
Does the 2,000 Hz rate work over Bluetooth?
No. The 2,000 Hz rate is reached wired and through the supplied 2.4 GHz NearLink dongle. Over Bluetooth, the measured polling rate drops back to around 125 Hz.
How many extra buttons are there, and where?
Four in total: M1 and M2 are two paddles on the back of the controller, M3 and M4 are placed on top, near the triggers. All of them can be remapped from the BIGBIG WON app.
What real battery life should you expect?
The battery is 1,000 mAh and the manufacturer states around 18 hours. Measurements published by reviewers range from 13 to 20 hours depending on vibration and lighting.
