What it is
A grip shell that attaches to the back of the Retroid Pocket 5. It widens the holding area and moves your palms further back, like on a controller. Nothing is taken apart on the console.
Fitting and colours
The grip lines up with the shell, then snaps on by hand. It comes off the same way for storage. Three colours: black, white and purple. Purple is priced €1 more than the other two.
What it doesn't do
It fits no other console. It adds no battery, no buttons and no cooling. It makes the console thicker, so it will no longer fit in a snug case. The manufacturer publishes no weight, no material and no dimensions.

No. The mould follows the shell of the Retroid Pocket 5 only. It suits neither Anbernic, nor Miyoo, nor TrimUI, nor the other Retroid models.
Do you need a tool to fit or remove it?
No. It attaches with clips, by hand. Removal works the same way, with no screws and no screwdriver.
Do the ports and the card reader stay accessible?
The supplier states that access to the ports, buttons and speakers is kept. It gives no detail on the microSD reader. Check that point on arrival if you swap cards often.
Does the grip add battery life or buttons?
No. It's a purely mechanical part: no battery, no extra triggers, no electronics.
Can I keep a tempered glass on the screen?
Yes. The grip attaches at the back and does not cover the panel.
Is there any difference between the three colours?
