Tactile GBA membranes: buttons that respond again
On a worn Game Boy Advance, the rubber membranes wear out and the contacts oxidise: you have to press hard, or several times. This tactile membrane kit from TicKnot replaces those membranes with elements featuring gold-plated contacts and stainless steel springs, with a very short travel. A useful repair for a Game Boy Advance with unreliable buttons.
What it does
- Gold-plated contacts: they resist oxidation better than the original pads.

A Game Boy Advance whose A button only responds every other time usually has a worn membrane on an oxidised contact. Open the console, clean the contacts, fit the new membranes and close it up: every press registers again.
