RGB SCART cable: the best analogue picture from your console

The composite cable supplied with most consoles mixes all the colours into a single signal: the picture bleeds and flickers. RGB SCART carries red, green and blue separately, for a sharp picture on a CRT TV or on the SCART input of an HDMI scaler. What it does

• It does not add RGB to a console that doesn't output it as standard: it carries the signal, it does not create it.
• Most Nintendo 64 consoles do not output RGB without an internal modification: on these consoles, the cable will not give an RGB picture.
• It does not convert to HDMI: for a screen without a SCART socket, you need a scaler.
• Each version only works with the console indicated: check your console's connector before choosing.
