Neeko on a magnetic keyboard: yes, it fits

Magnetic (Hall effect) keyboards now sit on many gamers' desks. Good news: this Neeko set mounts on them like on any MX-stem keyboard.

Neeko on your keys

Neeko comes from the Oovi-Kat vastaya tribe and spends her time taking on other people's looks. The set follows her palette: deep purple, the magenta of the flowers she makes bloom, the green of the jungle she grew up in. Six spell icons on the 1U keys, her portrait on the first one and an illustration running along the space bar. On a black keyboard the purple stands out without being loud; on a white keyboard the green takes over.

Magnetic keyboard: what to check

The magnetic switches on the Wooting 60HE and most "HE" keyboards keep an MX cross stem, so the caps press on the same way. On a 60% board all twelve keys fit. On a 75% magnetic board (Wooting 80HE, Keychron K2 HE) the right Shift is shortened to 1.75U: the 2.75U Shift from the set will not fit there, the other eleven keys will.

• 1 1.25U key (2.375 cm): Ctrl, Alt or Windows
• 1 1.75U key (3.325 cm): Caps Lock

• 1 6.25U space bar (11.875 cm)

65% and 75% keyboards (Keychron K2, K6 and Q1, Akko 3068, Wooting 80HE): the right Shift there is 1.75U, so the set's 2.75U Shift will not fit; the other eleven keys will. Corsair K65, K70 and K100, SteelSeries Apex: non-standard space bar, the set's 6.25U bar will not fit.

What this set does not do

• Does not replace a full keyboard: 12 keys dress one area, the others keep their stock caps
• 65% and 75% keyboards: the right Shift is shortened to 1.75U, the set's 2.75U Shift will not fit
• Corsair K65, K70, K100 and SteelSeries Apex: non-standard space bar, the set's 6.25U bar will not fit
• ISO AZERTY or QWERTZ keyboards: the 2U key replaces Backspace, not the L-shaped Enter key
• Not for membrane keyboards, low-profile keyboards or proprietary-stem switches
• The artwork is not backlit: PBT is opaque, light passes around the key
• Fan art inspired by the League of Legends universe: this set is not an officially licensed product
