Raze: the duellist who comes in through the wall
Raze does not open a door, she blows it up. A Brazilian duellist, she plays the tempo backwards: she goes in first, she makes noise, and the team follows through the dust. Her universe is one of graffiti and explosives, saturated orange, yellow, turquoise, splashes of paint, the exact opposite of the military palettes usually found on a gaming set. These bright colours cope badly with a busy keyboard: on a white or light grey case they come out crisp; on a black keyboard they gain aggression but close up the detail in the artwork. The set speaks to players who take the entry, the ones whose WASD block heats up faster than the rest of the keyboard.
Saturated colours: how the pattern holds up, then the formats
On a set this colourful, the real question is how the pattern holds up over time. Printing is done by dye-sublimation: heated, the ink turns to gas and diffuses into the material instead of sitting on the surface. A dye-sublimated pattern does not chip and does not rub off, unlike laser or lacquered printing, and that is what lets bright colours survive on the most-typed keys. The manufacturer then states 14 keys and five formats: 1U (1.8 × 1.8 cm), Caps Lock 1.75U (3.15 cm), Backspace 2U (3.6 cm), Enter 2.25U (4.05 cm) and space bar 6.25U (11.25 cm), in an ANSI layout. The 1U keys go freely, WASD and Esc first.
What the Raze set is not
Colours like these make you want a whole matching keyboard: that is not this product. Fourteen keycaps on a keyboard that has more than a hundred, the rest keeps its original keys, with a different shade and grain. It is also tempting to imagine those oranges lit from below: dye-sublimated legends do not let LED light through, it travels around the keys. This is neither a keyboard nor a game. It is not compatible everywhere: an MX cross-stem is required, so no membrane, no low profile, no laptop keyboard, and the space bar will not fit Costar stabilisers. It is not a licensed product: fan art inspired by the Valorant universe, published by a third-party manufacturer. The keycap puller is not included.

Those whose switches have an MX cross-stem: Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu and most clones. Excluded are membrane keyboards, low-profile keyboards and laptop keyboards. The space bar needs clip-in MX stabilisers; Costar stabilisers will not do. Pull off one original key to check the shape of the stem.
How many keys, and is the puller included?
The manufacturer states 14 keys in five formats: 1U, Caps Lock 1.75U, Backspace 2U, Enter 2.25U and space bar 6.25U, i.e. an ANSI layout. It does not publish the list of printed legends: only the product photos show the set as it ships. The puller, on the other hand, is not included.
What does the Raze artwork show?
The register is one of explosives and graffiti: saturated colours, splashes of paint, the energy of a duellist who goes in first. It is a fan art design, not a reproduction of an in-game visual.
Does a palette this bright suit my keyboard?
On a white or light grey case the oranges and turquoises come out crisp and the artwork stays readable. On a black keyboard contrast rises but the finer detail closes up. With rainbow backlighting the whole thing quickly gets busy: fixed, neutral lighting lets you see more of the pattern.
How do you clean a set this colourful?
With no special care for the pattern: the dye-sublimated print sits inside the material and does not come off with rubbing. A soft, slightly damp cloth is enough. For a deep clean, remove the keys with a wire puller, which pulls straight without tearing the switch stem off.
