Jett: a light set for fast play
Jett does not hold a position, she crosses it. Dash, updraft, blades in quick succession: she is the duellist of those who play on aim and tempo, and who lose a round more often through excess speed than through a lack of it. Her visual register follows: white, light grey, glacier blue, with the trails of wind that accompany the character. A light palette, and therefore discreet on a white keyboard, where the keys blend in and only the pattern stands out, and far more demonstrative on a black keyboard, where the fourteen keys form a bright zone in the middle of the layout. For a player who leans hard on the WASD block it is a deliberate choice: you see exactly where the fingers go.
Light palette: dirt, cleaning and formats
A light palette raises a question dark sets avoid: dirt. PBT is harder and rougher than the original ABS, it does not polish up as quickly and keeps its matte surface longer, but a matte grain holds marks more readily, and that shows more on light colours. Good news on the pattern: printing is done by dye-sublimation, the ink diffuses into the material instead of sitting on the surface, it does not chip and does not rub off. Cleaning therefore does not attack the legend. The manufacturer states 14 keys in five formats: 1U (1.8 × 1.8 cm), Caps Lock 1.75U (3.15 cm), Backspace 2U (3.6 cm), Enter 2.25U (4.05 cm) and space bar 6.25U (11.25 cm), in ANSI.
What the Jett set does not change
Let us say it straight away: a keycap set makes nobody faster. It changes what you see, not what you do. Nor does it change the whole keyboard: fourteen keys out of more than a hundred, the rest keeps its original keys, with a different shade and grain, a gap that shows up more next to a light set. It is neither a keyboard nor a game. It is not compatible everywhere: an MX cross-stem is required, so no membrane, no low profile, no laptop keyboard, and the space bar will not fit Costar stabilisers. It is not backlit-friendly, since dye-sublimated legends block the light. It is not a licensed product: fan art inspired by the Valorant universe, published by a third-party manufacturer. The puller is not included.

How do I know whether my keyboard is compatible?
Pull off a key and look at the switch: a raised cross means an MX cross-stem, and the set will mount on it, whether Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu or a clone. Membrane keyboards, low-profile keyboards and laptop keyboards are out of scope. The space bar calls for clip-in MX stabilisers, not Costar stabilisers.
What's in the box?
14 keys are stated by the manufacturer, in five formats: 1U, Caps Lock 1.75U, Backspace 2U, Enter 2.25U and space bar 6.25U, for an ANSI layout. The detail of the printed legends is not disclosed, so the product photos are the reference. The keycap puller is not included and needs to be planned for.
Does a light set get dirty faster?
It does not get dirty faster, but marks show up more than on a dark set. The matte grain of PBT holds a little of the deposit from your fingers; a regular wipe with a cloth settles the matter, since dye-sublimated printing is not bothered by rubbing.
Where should the Jett set go on the keyboard?
The four wide formats have a fixed place: Caps Lock to the left of the home row, Backspace top right of the number row, Enter to the right of the home row and the space bar at the bottom. The 1U keys go freely: on a fast play style, the WASD block and the Esc key are the most useful spots.
How do you clean without damaging the legends?
Nothing is fragile here: the legend is dye-sublimated into the material and does not come off with rubbing. A soft, slightly damp cloth is enough for the surface; to wash the keys separately, use a wire puller, which pulls straight without tearing the switch stem off.
Does this set come from the game's publisher?
No. It is a fan art design signed by a third-party manufacturer, with artwork inspired by the Valorant universe. It is not a licensed item and no partnership ties this set to the game's publisher.
