Iso's violet on an already dark keyboard
Iso is a lone duelist: he pushes on his own, shields himself with energy and goes looking for the one-on-one. His identity comes down to two colours, a deep violet and an electric magenta, set against black. This set's illustration follows the same logic: dark blocks crossed by bright lines rather than a busy, light-coloured pattern. On a black keyboard the fourteen keycaps blend in instead of standing out, and the match is immediate if your backlighting runs violet or cool blue. On a white keyboard the effect reverses: the block becomes a dark, highly legible area. Both work — it is a mood decision to make before ordering.
Light lines on a dark base: durability and sizes
With a palette this dark, the real question is how well the light lines hold up. Printing is done by dye sublimation: heated, the ink diffuses into the material instead of sitting on the surface, so a pale violet line does not chip or rub off. The trade-off is that the process only works from light to dark. As for sizes, the manufacturer states 14 keys in five formats: 1U (1.8 × 1.8 cm), Caps Lock 1.75U (3.15 cm), Backspace 2U (3.6 cm), Enter 2.25U (4.05 cm) and spacebar 6.25U (11.25 cm), all ANSI widths. The 1U caps go wherever you like, most often on WASD and Esc. The manufacturer does not publish the list of legends: the product photos are the reference.
What Iso's violet will not do
A violet set on a black base makes you think of backlighting: there is none. The dye-sublimated legends colour the material through and block the LED light, which stays visible around the keycaps but never through them. Nor is it a keyboard or a full set of keys: fourteen caps out of about a hundred, the rest keeping its original keys, whose shade and texture will not match. An MX cross-stem is required, so no membrane, low-profile or laptop keyboard, and the spacebar will not fit Costar stabilisers. It is not a licensed product: the illustration is fan art inspired by the Valorant universe, made by a third-party manufacturer. No keycap puller is included.

Will this set fit my keyboard?
It needs switches with an MX cross-stem: Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu and most clones. Ruled out are membrane keyboards, low-profile keyboards and laptop keyboards. The spacebar requires clip-in MX stabilisers; Costar stabilisers will not do. Pull off one key: if the stem is cross-shaped, you are fine.

Does this violet look better on a black or a white keyboard?
On a black or anthracite case the set blends in and the bright lines catch the eye. On a white keyboard it works too, but as a contrasting block: fourteen dark keycaps in the middle of light ones — a bolder statement than a quiet match.
Do the patterns stay readable in low light?
Yes, because the set plays light on dark: the violet and magenta lines carry the drawing. They do not light up, though: dye-sublimated printing lets no LED light through, and a fully dark room reduces the motif to a silhouette. If you play in the dark, keep a secondary light behind the screen.
How do I clean them without damaging the print?
The design is diffused into the material by sublimation: it will not rub off, and a soft, barely damp cloth is enough. Avoid solvents and neat alcohol, which attack the plastic's finish faster than the print. Let them air-dry before clipping them back on, and take the chance to run a brush between the switches.
Is this an official product from the game's publisher?
No. It is fan art from a third-party manufacturer, inspired by the Valorant universe and the agent Iso. It is not a licensed item and there is no partnership of any kind with the game's publisher.
