Breach: red, copper and machinery
Breach opens doors the hard way: cybernetic arms, a seismic blast straight through walls, a flash that goes through sheet metal. He is the initiator who breaks a defence before the team walks in. His palette follows suit — orange-red, copper, metal grey — a warm dominant laid over hard materials. The illustration turns that into a dense image, more mechanical than graphic, where the metal areas act as a backdrop for the red. On a black keyboard the contrast is instant and the WASD block becomes the focal point; on a grey or silver case the effect is more muted, almost industrial. A set for entry players, not for pastel lovers.
Plenty of detail: what the printing makes of it
A busy illustration puts the printing to the test, and that is the first thing to look at here. The process is dye sublimation: heated, the ink turns to gas and diffuses into the plastic instead of sitting on top of it. A fine pattern therefore does not chip or rub away, unlike laser or coated printing; in exchange, the process only runs from light to dark. The substrate is PBT, harder and rougher than the original ABS. The manufacturer states 14 keys in five sizes — 1U (1.8 × 1.8 cm), Caps Lock 1.75U (3.15 cm), Backspace 2U (3.6 cm), Enter 2.25U (4.05 cm), spacebar 6.25U (11.25 cm) — in ANSI widths, without publishing the list of legends.
Metal in the artwork, not in the material
The copper and steel in the artwork are just artwork: these keycaps are printed PBT, they have neither the weight nor the coldness of metal, and they do not replace machined caps. Nor is this a keyboard or a full set of keys: fourteen keycaps on more than a hundred, the rest keeping its original keys, whose shade and texture will differ. It is not a backlit set — the dye-sublimated legends block the LED light. Compatibility demands an MX cross-stem, so no membrane, low-profile or laptop keyboard, and the spacebar will not take Costar stabilisers. It is not a licensed product: fan art from a third-party manufacturer. No keycap puller is included.

Compatible with my mechanical keyboard?
It needs switches with an MX cross-stem — Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu and clones. Out of the running: membrane keyboards, low-profile keyboards and laptop keyboards. The spacebar can only be fitted on clip-in MX stabilisers: on Costar ones it will not hold.
How many keycaps are supplied?
14 keys according to the manufacturer, in 1U, Caps Lock 1.75U, Backspace 2U, Enter 2.25U and spacebar 6.25U — ANSI widths. The exact list of legends is not provided by the manufacturer: the product photos show the real contents of the set.
Does the red clash with blue backlighting?
Frankly, yes: under a blue LED the coppery red turns a dirty brown. Switch to orange, red or warm white, or simply turn the backlighting off — the set's metal tones do fine in daylight.
Does the metal look hold up in real life?
It is a printed effect, not a material: there is no reflection and no shine, the PBT stays matte. Up close it is flat areas and lines suggesting steel; at playing distance the illusion works well. The most detailed areas are the ones to study in the photos before ordering, because that is where legibility is decided. A grey or silver keyboard reinforces the effect.
Care: what to do and what to avoid?
A soft, barely damp cloth, dried fully before clipping them back on. The design is diffused into the material and does not mind rubbing, but solvents and neat alcohol attack the plastic: avoid them. A dry brush between the rows removes the dust that dulls the red faster than you would think.

Not official. It is fan art from a third-party manufacturer, with an illustration inspired by the Valorant universe and the agent Breach. The set is not licensed and rests on no partnership with the game's publisher.
