Katarina, the blade of Noxus on twelve keycaps
Katarina is played forward. Her resets chain fights into one uninterrupted sequence of movement, and that tempo is exactly what this set puts on the keyboard: a red-and-steel palette taken from Noxus, sitting on the keys you hit most. Those dark tones fall into place on their own on a black keyboard, where the twelve keycaps form an island of colour over the movement and ability zone without repainting the whole desk. On a white keyboard the contrast turns sharp and the set reads as a deliberate accent. This is a mid laner's pick, for players who like champions that never wait – not for anyone looking to stay discreet.
Exactly what the twelve-keycap kit covers
Start with the count: 12 keycaps and one puller, nothing else. The rest of the keyboard keeps its original caps, and the layout size (60%, TKL, full-size) is irrelevant since you pick the positions yourself: WASD, ability keys or the function row. Mounting is on MX cross-stems. Pull one cap off: if the switch stem shows a cross, the set clips straight onto it, which covers Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh and Outemu. The profile is OEM, the one fitted as standard on most off-the-shelf mechanical keyboards: each row has its own height, so keep every cap on the row it was shaped for. Fitting is done by hand, with no glue and no soldering, and stays reversible.
What the Katarina set does not do
An illustration this heavy on red can suggest a full set: it is not one. Twelve keycaps dress one zone, not entire rows, and the mechanical keyboard has to exist already – the set does not replace it. It fits neither a membrane keyboard, nor low-profile keys, nor a proprietary stem. It is not backlit: PBT is opaque, the light passes around the cap and not through the legend, so do not expect a motif that glows at night. Finally, this is an illustration inspired by the League of Legends universe, not a licensed product.

Will this set fit my keyboard?
It mounts on mechanical keyboards with an MX cross-stem: Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu. Pull off one cap and look at the switch stem: if it forms a cross, the set clips onto it. On a membrane keyboard, on low-profile keys or on a proprietary stem, the keycaps will not attach.
How many keycaps are in the set?
12 keycaps and a puller, to spread wherever you like: WASD, ability keys or the function row. This is not a full set: the rest of the keyboard keeps its original caps, and the layout size (60%, TKL, full-size) makes no difference.
Will the red fade from being hit so often?
Printing is dye-sublimated (DYE-SUB): the dye is diffused into the plastic rather than laid on top of it. There is therefore no layer to chip or wear away. PBT also resists the shine that appears on the most heavily used ABS keys.
Does Katarina's red and steel suit my keyboard?
On a black case the twelve keycaps form an island of colour and the whole thing stays understated; on a white case the contrast is sharp and the set reads as a deliberate accent. Under backlighting PBT is opaque: the light draws a halo around the cap without passing through the motif, and a fixed red light serves this set better than a colour cycle.
