Which keyboard this set works best on

• Black or dark gray keyboard: contrast is at its maximum, and the 12 keys read as a standalone graphic accent.

• Backlit keyboard: the legends are printed, not shine-through — the light passes around the key, not through it.

Two common questions

Do I need to replace the whole keyboard? No. The whole point of a 12-key set is to keep your original keys everywhere else and add color to just one area: WASD, the action keys, or the function row.

Will the pink fade over time? That is exactly what DYE-SUB prevents. On surface-printed ABS, a bright pink wears off under your fingers within a few months; here the dye is diffused into the PBT.
