ChisFlash GBA cartridge: 32 MB rewritable and a genuine RTC clock
To run your own programs on a Game Boy Advance, you need a cartridge you can write to. The ChisFlash GBA version 1.1 is a 32 MB rewritable blank cartridge with an S35190 RTC chip, the one used on original cartridges, and 1 Mbit of flash for saves. It is intended for homebrew and your own saves.
What it does
- 32 MB rewritable: the maximum size of a GBA cartridge, rewritten as often as needed with a cartridge flasher.
- S35190 RTC chip: the same real-time clock as on original cartridges, for programs that use the time.
- 1 Mbit of flash: memory dedicated to game saves.
- Two colours: translucent black or translucent white.
What it doesn't do
- It is supplied blank: no content is preloaded.
- It does not write itself: you need a compatible cartridge flasher and a computer.

Compatibility
Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Advance SP and Game Boy Micro. Programs in Game Boy Advance format. Game Boy and Game Boy Color programs are not supported.

A Game Boy Advance homebrew is best enjoyed on the console. You write your file to the ChisFlash with a flasher, insert it, and it boots like a cartridge from back in the day. For a new version, you simply rewrite it.
