Description complète
ANBERNIC RG477M – 4.7” LTPS Handheld Console, Dimensity 8300
The ANBERNIC RG477M is an Android handheld console designed for high-end emulation. It combines a 4.7" LTPS display in 4:3 format at 1280×960 with a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 in a premium metal chassis.
🕹️ Choose your configuration
The RG477M is available in two memory configurations. In both cases, the console ships on its own, with no microSD card and no games: the system is already installed, all that is left is to copy over your own backup copies.
- 12 GB + 128 GB: 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The right balance for most retro libraries.
- 12 GB + 256 GB: 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Recommended if you emulate a lot of demanding systems (PS2, GameCube, Wii).
Need extra space? Add a microSD card for handheld consoles.
✅ Ready to play out of the box
The console arrives with its system already installed: switch it on and it works. All that is left is adding your games, your own backup copies, made from cartridges you own. A simple drag and drop from your computer is enough.
The fine-tuning remains entirely yours to set as you like: key mapping, display filters, per-system preferences. And the 4:3 screen shows retro games in their original format.

Power & Emulation
The ANBERNIC RG477M leverages the MediaTek Dimensity 8300 (Cortex-A715 cores, ARM architecture, 2.2–3.35 GHz) and the Mali-G615 MC6 GPU (1.4 GHz) for fast and stable emulation. 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM boosts menu fluidity and front-end responsiveness, while 128 GB of storage comfortably accommodates your systems and libraries. All of this delivers short load times and consistent performance, even with demanding titles.
Display & Ergonomics
Designed for purists, the 4.7" LTPS screen in a 4:3 aspect ratio displays at 1280×960 resolution with 340 PPI for a crisp image faithful to the consoles of that era. The metal (aluminum) chassis ensures a premium feel; the top-mounted D-pad, Hall Effect analog sticks, and side-by-side triggers promote precision and comfort. The compact design (176×89.4×15.5–21.3 mm, 354 g) remains balanced for extended gaming sessions.
Connectivity & Autonomy
Wi-Fi 6E ensures fast downloads and more stable game streaming, while Bluetooth 5.3 makes it easy to connect controllers and headphones. The 5300 mAh battery allows for extended gaming sessions on the go; the low-profile speaker and charging port make everyday use more convenient. By optimizing network management and screen brightness, you get an excellent balance of power, portability, and battery life.

Why this console is in our catalogue
We check every console before listing it. Many never make it in.
Every console is checked before it enters the catalogue: what it really emulates, what it will not do, and the condition in which you receive it. Many models never make it in, because they do not live up to what they announce. What this one runs, and where it stops, is detailed further down this page.
