USB-C charging adapter: charge a handheld console with your phone's cable
Every handheld console from the 2000s has its own proprietary charger, and those units get lost or give up. This TicKnot USB-C charging adapter fits onto the console's original charging port and accepts a USB-A to USB-C or USB-C to USB-C cable. One version per console family: Game Boy Advance SP, Game Boy Micro, DS Lite, DSi, 2DS and 3DS, Wii U (GamePad), PSP Go and PS Vita 1000.
What it does
- USB-C charging: a single cable type for the console and the rest of your devices.
- USB-A or USB-C cable: both cable types are supported.
- Seven versions: one per charging port, from the Game Boy Advance SP to the PS Vita 1000.
- 3D-printed housing: compact format, fitted to each console's port.
What it doesn't do
- It does not charge faster: the charging speed remains the one managed by the console.
- It does not carry data: it is a charging adapter.
- Each version only suits the console or consoles indicated: choose the one for your console.
- It is not suitable for the PS Vita 2000, which already charges via micro-USB.
- Neither cable nor charger is included.
Compatibility
One version per console: Game Boy Advance SP; Game Boy Micro; DS Lite; DSi, 2DS and 3DS (same charging port); Wii U, for the GamePad's charging port; PSP Go; PS Vita 1000. Not compatible with the PS Vita 2000, the PSP 1000 to 3000 or the Wii U itself (the console's power supply).

The job: finally putting the old chargers away
You fit the adapter onto the console's charging port, plug in the USB-C cable you already use for your phone, and the console charges. No need to track down the original unit, often lost or worn out after twenty years: an ordinary USB charger does the job, at home or on the road.
The part: one TicKnot adapter per charging port
TicKnot produces accessories for handheld consoles. Each version of this adapter is designed for a specific port, in a 3D-printed housing, and accepts both a USB-A to USB-C cable and a USB-C to USB-C cable. It changes the port, not the electronics: the console manages its charging just as it does with its original unit.
The support: choosing the right version
The ports sometimes look alike but are not interchangeable: the DSi, 2DS and 3DS share theirs, while the DS Lite and the Game Boy Micro each have their own. If in doubt, send us the exact name of your console or a photo of its port; our customer service replies within 1 business day.
