Description complète
Acrylic case for a Switch game card: one card stored, its cover art on show
A Switch game card is barely bigger than a stamp: once out of its original case, it ends up loose in a drawer and can't be identified without putting it in the console. This clear acrylic case holds one card and has a slot for a cover insert, so your collection can stand upright on a shelf, like books.
What it does
- Stores one game card: a single slot, and the card stays protected from dust and rubbing.
- Makes the game identifiable: the cover slot lets you recognise the title without opening the case.
- Stands upright: the acrylic is rigid, and cases of the same size line up or stack.
What it doesn't do
- It is delivered empty: no game, no printed cover. Supplied without games, in compliance with the law.
- It doesn't protect against a fall: the acrylic is rigid and brittle, so it keeps out dust and scratches, not impacts.
- One case holds one card: it isn't a multi-game binder.
- It only fits the Switch card format: Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS or 3DS cartridges have a different size.
Compatibility
Switch-format game cards — the original console, the OLED version and the Lite all use the same card. Not for retro cartridges (Game Boy, Game Boy Advance, Mega Drive, Nintendo DS…), optical discs or microSD cards. The exact dimensions of the case are not provided by the manufacturer.
Skill level required
None. No assembly, no tools, no console disassembly: the case opens and closes by hand. If you want cover art behind the front, you'll need to print it and cut it to the size of the case yourself.

The cartridge has shrunk
Retro collectors are used to a shelf you can read at a glance: a Mega Drive box, a Game Boy cover, a cartridge spine you recognise from across the room. The Switch game card broke with that logic. It fits on a fingernail, carries only a tiny printed label, and once out of its original case it no longer tells you which game it holds. This acrylic case gives it a visible place again.
What it changes on the shelf
The card sits in a rigid, clear case that stands upright, spine aligned with the others. The slot behind the front takes a cover insert that you print to size, making the title readable without opening anything. It takes up far less space than an original game case, and the card stops rattling around loose in a drawer.
What we tell you before you buy
The case is sold empty and individually: there's no game and no printed cover in the package, and you need one case per card. The acrylic is rigid but brittle: it keeps out dust and scratches, but won't absorb a fall. Finally, the slot is cut for the Switch format only: a Game Boy, GBA or Nintendo DS cartridge won't fit, and the manufacturer doesn't publish the exact dimensions.
