Description complète
Room for your Ally's PC library
The ROG Xbox Ally and the Ally X install PC games weighing tens of gigabytes. This SanDisk card is designed for them: 1TB or 2TB, and for the 1TB up to 200MB/s read and 140MB/s write claimed.
What it does
- Expands the console's game library without opening the device.
- Loads fast: up to 200MB/s read claimed in 1TB.
- Keeps up with updates: SanDisk optimises it for game downloads and updates.
What it doesn't do
- It remains slower than the console's internal SSD: a game launched from the card loads more slowly.
- It isn't an Express card: it doesn't store games on Nintendo Switch 2.
- It works in other microSDXC devices, but brings nothing more there than a standard UHS-I card.
- Supplied without games, in accordance with the law.
Compatibility
ROG Xbox Ally, ROG Xbox Ally X, and any device that accepts UHS-I microSDXC: Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Android consoles, handheld PCs.

Frequently Asked Questions
🎮 Does the Ally need a special card?
No, the Ally accepts any UHS-I microSDXC. This one is designed for it, with high speeds in 1TB and capacities suited to PC games.
⚡ Does a game run as well from the card?
Once loaded, yes. Loading times are longer than from the internal SSD, though: keep your favourite games on the SSD.
🎮 Does it work on Nintendo Switch 2?
Not for games. The Switch 2 only accepts microSD Express cards to store and launch games. A UHS-I microSD like this one can only be used there to import screenshots and videos. On the original Switch, Switch OLED and Switch Lite, it works.
💾 Do I need to format the card before use?
Yes, in the device that will use it. For a Linux-based retro console, use the format required by the firmware (FAT32 or exFAT). Leave about 10% free space and never remove the card while it is writing.
📦 Does the card contain any games?
No. It is supplied blank, without games, in accordance with the law. Our Where to play legally page explains the legal ways to build your game library.
🔍 How can I be sure the capacity is genuine?
Our cards come directly from the SanDisk network. You can check it yourself with H2testw (Windows) or f3 (Linux, macOS): our guide on counterfeit cards explains how.
🚚 What are the delivery times?
Delivery in 10 to 18 days, shipped within 3 to 5 days.
🛡️ What warranty applies?
2-year legal guarantee of conformity. Returns within 14 days. The SanDisk manufacturer's warranty applies on top, under its own terms. Our customer service answers by email at contact@fun-esports.com.
Why buy here rather than on a marketplace
It is a fair question. Here is the answer, straight.
Every listing is checked before publication: real read and write speeds, capacity, speed classes, compatible devices. Many models never make it into the catalogue.
A question about formatting, a card that will not mount, a return: you write, a human replies within 1 business day. In French.
The 2-year legal warranty of conformity is handled by us — not by a form on the other side of the world. And 14 days to change your mind, with no need to justify yourself.
We do not claim to be the cheapest. We claim that you will know exactly what you are buying before you pay.
