Pyke, the black waters of Bilgewater
Pyke is the specter that came back up from the docks of Bilgewater: a support who hunts more than he protects. The set carries that mood in deep blues, murky water green and ink black, with the pale line that cuts the silhouette out of the dark. It is a cold, low-contrast palette, made for a black or anthracite case where it settles in instead of clashing; on a white keyboard it would look dull. On a dark desk, with steady blue lighting or none at all, the set forms a darker block than the rest of the keyboard: a useful landmark when your hand comes back to WASD without looking. Pyke players tend to like understated setups and roles that open the fight.
What actually scratches a keycap
What wears a keycap out is not the typing: it is the fingernail, fine dust and the friction that always lands in the same spot. PBT is harder and drier than the ABS fitted as standard on most keyboards, so it takes that polishing without picking up the sticky shine of the most-used keys. The pattern is dye-sublimated (DYE-SUB): the dye moves into the material instead of sitting on top, so there is no layer to chip and no ridge under your fingernail. Before fitting, check the switch stem: a cross means MX cross-stem (Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu). OEM profile, each key stays on its row; fitted by hand with the supplied puller, no glue, fully reversible.
What this set will not turn your keyboard into
A full silhouette in the photo can suggest a complete keyboard: it is not one. The set holds 12 keycaps, it covers one area while the other rows keep their original keys, and the mechanical keyboard itself must already be there. Nothing to expect on a membrane keyboard, on low-profile keys or on a proprietary stem either: only MX mounting is provided. And the blues will not light up, since PBT is opaque: the switch light passes around the keycap without going through the pattern. Finally, this is an illustration inspired by the League of Legends universe, not a licensed product.

Will this set fit my keyboard?
It fits mechanical keyboards with an MX cross-stem: Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu. Pull off one key and look at the switch stem: if it forms a cross, the set clips straight on. On a membrane keyboard, on low-profile keys or on a proprietary stem, the keycaps will not attach.
What's in the box?
12 keycaps and a keycap puller. The rest of the keyboard keeps its original caps: put the Pyke keys on the area you use most, WASD, ability keys or the function row. Keyboard format (60%, TKL, full-size) makes no difference.
How do you clean keys this dark?
A slightly damp microfibre cloth is enough: black mostly shows fingerprints. There is no risk to the pattern, which is dye-sublimated (DYE-SUB) — the dye sits inside the plastic rather than on the surface. PBT also avoids the shine that builds up on heavily used ABS keys.
Does this dark palette work with backlighting?
Yes, but around the edges: PBT is opaque, so the switch light passes around the keycap and draws a halo without shining through the pattern. A steady blue or cyan extends the tones of Bilgewater; a multicolour cycle only blurs an already very dark illustration.
Which setup shows this set off best?
A black or anthracite keyboard, a dark deskmat, little colour around it: the deep blues of Pyke work through contrast of material rather than brightness. On a light desk you get the opposite effect — the block of keys becomes a very visible anchor in the middle of the keyboard.
Is this an official League of Legends product?
