IPS screen for PSP 3000: a sharp picture, without lines or ghosting
The original PSP 3000 screen is known for its horizontal lines visible in moving scenes, and many screens now arrive scratched or marked. This Hispeedido 4.3-inch IPS panel takes its place, at the original 480 × 272 resolution, and fits without soldering.
What it does
- High-brightness IPS panel: white backlight, picture readable from wide angles.
- No more horizontal lines: the line effect specific to the original PSP 3000 screen disappears in fast scenes.
- Identical format: same 4.3-inch diagonal and same 480 × 272 resolution as the original.
- Direct fit: the screen plugs in place of the old one, without soldering or cutting.
What it doesn't do
- It is not suitable for the PSP 1000, 2000, Go or E1000, whose screen and connectors differ.
- It is not compatible with PSP 3000 units fitted with the late "07g" motherboard.
- It does not increase game resolution: the PSP still displays 480 × 272.
- It replaces neither the front glass, nor the shell, nor the battery.

Skill level required
Intermediate level, no soldering or cutting. You need to open the PSP (2.0 mm Phillips screwdriver, sometimes a T2 bit depending on the unit), unplug the original screen's ribbon cable, fit the new screen with the supplied foam adhesive and plug it back in. Fine tweezers help with handling the connector. Remove the battery before you start.

The job: replacing a tired screen
Scratches, dead pixels, lines scrolling in fast scenes: the screen is often the weak point of a PSP 3000. You remove the battery, open the console, unplug the old screen and plug this one in its place. No soldering, no cutting: once closed, the console displays a sharp, bright picture.
