Description complète
Pocket Player 308 games: licensed Data East or Jaleco games, in 100 grams
The Pocket Player from My Arcade is a 13.7 cm handheld console weighing 100 g, with a 2.75-inch backlit colour screen. The Data East Hits edition comes with 8 licensed Data East games, the All-Star editions with 7 Jaleco games; each one adds 300 bonus games. Powered by 4 AAA batteries or a USB cable. Not to be confused with the Pocket Player Pro, which is a different model.
What it does
- Licensed games: 8 Data East games or 7 Jaleco games depending on the edition, playable in full.
- 300 bonus games: added by the manufacturer, on top of the licensed titles.
- 2.75-inch backlit colour screen: in a 13.7 × 2.2 × 7 cm body.
- Front-facing speaker and headphone jack: adjustable volume, 3.5 mm headphone jack.
- Wrist strap included: to take it anywhere.
What it doesn't do
- No rechargeable battery: 4 AAA batteries (not included) or a USB cable (not included).
- The 300 bonus games are neither Data East nor Jaleco games: they are “retro-style” games whose list the manufacturer does not publish.
- No TV output is advertised: you play on the console's screen.
- The game list is fixed: no cartridge, nothing to add.
- This is not the Pocket Player Pro: no vertical screen, no AA batteries, no edition devoted to a single licence.
What each edition contains
- Data East Hits — 308 games: 8 licensed Data East games (BurgerTime, Bad Dudes, Karate Champ, Caveman Ninja, Side Pocket, Heavy Barrel, BreakThru and B-Wings) and 300 bonus games.
- All-Star Arena — 307 games: 7 licensed Jaleco games (Goal!, Bases Loaded 1, 2, 3 and 4, Racket Attack and Hoops) and 300 bonus games.
- All-Star Stadium — 307 games: the manufacturer lists the same 7 Jaleco games as the All-Star Arena edition, plus 300 bonus games.
Compatibility
Standalone, with no device to connect. Powered by 4 AAA batteries or a USB cable, neither included. The manufacturer's spec sheet states a Micro-USB port, while its most recent manual states a USB-C port. Multilingual manual, including French.

Data East or Jaleco, in your pocket
The Pocket Player brings together a small licensed game library in a 100 g body. On the Data East side: BurgerTime, Bad Dudes, Karate Champ, Caveman Ninja. On the Jaleco side, in the All-Star editions: Goal!, Hoops, Racket Attack and the four Bases Loaded titles. Every game is playable in full, on a 2.75-inch backlit screen.
308 games, 300 of them bonus
The number on the box adds up two things. On one side, 7 or 8 games licensed from arcade and console publishers. On the other, 300 “retro-style” bonus games added by the manufacturer, whose list is not published. The former are what make the machine interesting; the latter are an extra.
A different model from the Pocket Player Pro
We also sell the Pocket Player Pro, with its vertical screen and AA batteries, devoted to a single licence. This Pocket Player is slimmer and lighter, runs on AAA batteries and focuses on the number of games. Both come with their licensed games, which places them in our official and legal retro gaming section.

Frequently Asked Questions
🆚 Is this the Pocket Player Pro?
No, they are two different models, sold on two separate pages. The Pocket Player Pro has a vertical 2.75-inch screen, runs on 4 AA batteries or USB-C and is devoted to a single licence (from 1 to 100 games); it measures 13.66 × 2.72 × 8.58 cm and weighs 136 g. This Pocket Player is slimmer and lighter (13.7 × 2.2 × 7 cm, 100 g), runs on 4 AAA batteries and combines 7 or 8 licensed games with 300 bonus games.
🕹️ Which games are licensed?
Data East Hits edition: BurgerTime, Bad Dudes, Karate Champ, Caveman Ninja, Side Pocket, Heavy Barrel, BreakThru and B-Wings. All-Star Arena and All-Star Stadium editions: Goal!, Bases Loaded 1, 2, 3 and 4, Racket Attack and Hoops.
🎲 What are the 300 bonus games?
“Retro-style” games added by the manufacturer. They are neither Data East nor Jaleco games, and their list is not published. Hence the 308 games of the Data East edition and the 307 of the Jaleco editions.
🏟️ What is the difference between All-Star Arena and All-Star Stadium?
The manufacturer publishes the same list of 7 Jaleco games for both editions and documents no difference other than their name and artwork.
🔋 How is it powered?
By 4 AAA batteries or a USB cable, neither included. The manufacturer's spec sheet states a Micro-USB port, its most recent manual a USB-C port: the cable type may depend on the production run. There is no rechargeable battery.
📺 Can you play on a TV?
No, no TV output is advertised. You play on the 2.75-inch screen, with headphones if you like thanks to the 3.5 mm jack.
🚚 What are the delivery times?
Delivery in 10 to 18 days, ships within 3 to 5 days.
🛡️ What guarantee applies?
2-year legal guarantee of conformity. 14-day returns.
Why buy here rather than on a marketplace
It is a fair question. Here is the answer, straight.
Every listing is checked before publication: real compatibility, material, dimensions, box contents. Many models never make it into the catalogue.
A question about compatibility, a fit problem, a return: you write, a human replies within 1 business day. In French.
The 2-year legal warranty of conformity is handled by us — not by a form on the other side of the world. And 14 days to change your mind, with no need to justify yourself.
We do not claim to be the cheapest. We claim that you will know exactly what you are buying before you pay.
