Pixel Pocket Pro: a licensed classic, in keychain format

The Pixel Pocket Pro from My Arcade is a 9.9 cm keychain console weighing 68 g, devoted to one licence: Pac-Man, Space Invaders, Mega Man 1 to 6 or 25 Atari games. The games are officially licensed and playable in full, on a 2-inch colour screen. It runs on 3 AAA batteries; the keyring and the mini screwdriver are included.

What it does

• Licensed games: from 1 to 25 games depending on the edition, detailed below.
• 2-inch colour screen: vertical, in a 4.4 × 2.2 × 9.9 cm body.
• Keyring included: to clip it onto a bag or your keys.
• Mini screwdriver included: to open the battery cover.
• 68 grams: it slips into any pocket.

What it doesn't do

• No battery and no USB port: it runs only on 3 AAA batteries, not included.
• The Pac-Man and Space Invaders editions contain a single game only.
• The manufacturer mentions no headphone jack.
• The game list is fixed: no cartridge, nothing to add.
• 2-inch screen: this is a pocket object, not a console for long sessions.

What each edition contains

• Pac-Man — Pac-Man, in Classic mode and Speedy mode. Vertical screen.
• Space Invaders — Space Invaders. Vertical screen.
• Mega Man 1 to 6 — Mega Man, Mega Man 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
• Atari — 25 licensed Atari games; the manufacturer does not publish the detailed list.

Compatibility

Standalone, with no device to connect. Powered by 3 AAA batteries, not included. Multilingual manual, including French.

Getting started

Open the battery cover with the mini screwdriver provided, insert 3 AAA batteries, peel off the screen protection sticker and switch on.
