A PS1 without a memory card means starting your game over from the beginning every time you switch it on. This 4 MB memory card slides into the memory card slot of the PS1 or PS One and keeps your game saves. It is sold singly or as a pair: one card per player, or one for current games and one for archives.
What it does
- Saves your games: the console writes and reads your saves just as it does with a standard card.
