Solari dawn on a light keyboard
Leona carries the sun like a shield: she takes the hits for everyone else, and her light is never decorative. The set draws a dawn palette from that, warm gold, clean white, a sky blue rising from the edges. It is one of the few champion themes that gains from being placed on a white keyboard: there the gold reads as a continuation, whereas on a black case it becomes an isolated accent, harder and more contrasted. The set speaks to the support player who stands in front, the one who wants a desk that is bright and legible rather than cavernous. The Leona artwork is an original design inspired by the League of Legends universe, with no connection to the game's publisher.
A light palette: the real question is keeping it clean
On a light set the first thing you see is a fingerprint: hence the choice of material. The 12 keycaps are PBT, denser than the ABS fitted as standard on most keyboards, with a matte grain that catches less light than a smooth surface. The pattern is dye-sublimated: the dye enters the material, it is not laid on top. No raised layer, so no ridge for grime to settle in, and nothing that can chip on a pale background. Fitting: MX cross-stems (Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu), OEM profile whose height changes row by row, each cap going back on an equivalent row. The supplied puller is all you need, in AZERTY or QWERTY.
What the gold does not do
A gold set makes you think of something that lights up: it does not. Dye-sublimated PBT is opaque, the backlight travels around the key and forms a halo, it does not pass through the pattern. Nor is this a complete set: twelve keys dress one area of the keyboard without covering it, and keys with a manufacturer-specific width are not included, so yours will stay visible alongside. Nothing to attempt on a membrane keyboard or one with low-profile scissor-mechanism keys, for lack of an MX cross-stem, nor on a keyboard built in the Cherry, XDA or SA profile. The Leona artwork is an original design inspired by the League of Legends universe, with no connection to the game's publisher: not a licensed product.

Can my keyboard take this set?
There has to be an MX cross-stem under the cap: the raised cross is visible as soon as a key is removed. That means Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh and Outemu. Neither membrane keyboards nor keyboards with low-profile scissor-mechanism keys.
How many keys, and what else?
The stated contents are 12 keycaps and one puller. Keys with a manufacturer-specific width are not supplied: positions wider than standard size stay the ones on your keyboard.
Do I need a white keyboard for the gold to work?
It is not compulsory, but that is where it sits best: a white case extends the dawn palette. On a black keyboard the gold becomes a strongly contrasted island; on a light grey keyboard the effect stays soft.
Does a light palette get dirty faster?
It shows more, that much is true. The matte grain of the PBT limits reflections and shiny marks, and sublimation leaves no raised ridge for dust to catch on.
How do I look after them?
A soft cloth, slightly damp, without solvent. Because the pattern is in the material rather than on it, cleaning does not remove it: nothing peels away.
