Haute42 T16 and R16: the 16-button hitbox to get started with leverless play
A leverless controller replaces the stick with buttons: directions are played with your fingers, for faster and more consistent inputs. The Haute42 T16 and R16 are 16-button hitboxes in an acrylic case, for PC, PS4 and PS5, connected via USB.
What it does
- 16 buttons: directions and actions on buttons, with no lever.
- Three versions: T16-30, translucent R16 or black R16, to choose according to format and look.
- Acrylic case: light and easy to carry in a bag.
- USB connection: wired connection to PC, PS4 or PS5.
What it doesn't do
- No lever: this is not a classic arcade stick, directions are played on buttons.
- Wired connection only: no Bluetooth, no battery.
- Xbox is not covered.
- Allow real adjustment time if you are coming from a lever or a gamepad.

The move: four fingers instead of a wrist
On a hitbox, left, down and right sit under the fingers of the left hand, and up under the thumb. Inputs are faster and more repeatable than on a lever: the same movement gives the same result. That is why the format has taken hold in fighting games.
The hardware: the acrylic Haute42 hitbox
The T16 and R16 use Haute42's 16-button layout in a light acrylic case. They connect via USB to a PC, PS4 or PS5. The R16 comes in translucent or black, the T16 in the T16-30 version.
