GAMINJA P47: a simple spare controller for PS4, PS3 and PC
The GAMINJA P47 takes the controls of the PS4 controller and puts them in a solid-colour shell, in four colours. It connects over Bluetooth to the console or the PC and keeps the 6-axis gyroscope, the touchpad and dual vibration. It is a controller for the second player or for PC emulation, not a competition pad.
What it does
- Bluetooth 4.0: wireless link with the PS4, the PS3 and the PC; the cable is for charging and first pairing.
- 6-axis gyroscope: motion sensing for games that use it and for gyro aiming on PC.
- Touchpad: supported by the PS4 games that use it.
- Dual vibration: one motor in each grip, with a different feel on the left and the right.
- 600 mAh battery: rechargeable, about 3 hours to charge at 5 V / 1 A.
- Player indicator: its colour changes according to the player assigned by the console.
What it doesn't do
- Conventional potentiometer sticks, not Hall effect: as on most controllers, drift can appear with wear.
- Non-linear L2 and R2 trigger travel: less precise than a high-end trigger for metering throttle.
- Charges over micro-USB, not USB-C: keep the supplied cable.
- 600 mAh battery: for back-to-back long sessions, keep the charging cable within reach.
- It is not stated for the PS5, the Switch or Xbox consoles.
- It does not plug into an original retro console (PS1, PS2): no adapter is supplied.
- Supplied without games, in compliance with the law.
Compatibility
Stated by the manufacturer for the PS4, the PS3 and PCs running Windows 7, 8 and 10. Every PS4 accepts the same controllers, Slim and Pro included. On the PS3 the touchpad has no use. Neither the PS5, nor the Switch, nor Xbox consoles appear in the compatibility.
Getting started
No assembly, no software. Fully charge the controller before first use. On PS4 or PS3, connect the controller to the console with the supplied cable, press the centre button, then unplug it: the Bluetooth link is remembered from then on. On PC, a first USB connection lets Windows install the driver, then pairing is done in the Bluetooth settings.

Une manette d'appoint, sans fausse promesse
La P47 vise un usage précis : un deuxième joueur sur la PS4, une PS3 qui a perdu sa manette, ou un pad pour l'émulation sur PC. Elle garde les commandes utiles, gyroscope, pavé tactile et vibration, et assume ses limites : sticks sans effet Hall, gâchettes non linéaires et charge en micro-USB. Pour jouer en compétition, il faut viser plus haut.
Une liaison Bluetooth, deux étapes
Le câble ne sert qu'au départ. On branche la manette sur la console, on appuie sur le bouton central, et la liaison Bluetooth est mémorisée. Sur PC, le premier branchement en USB laisse Windows installer son pilote, puis l'appairage se fait dans les paramètres Bluetooth. Ensuite, la manette se reconnecte d'elle-même à chaque allumage.
P47, P48, P412 : comment s'y retrouver
GAMINJA vend plusieurs manettes pour PS4 sous des références proches. La P47 est déclinée ici en coloris unis et se charge en micro-USB. La P48 existe en version simple et en version avec micro et prise casque. La P412 ajoute un éclairage RGB. Toutes gardent gyroscope, pavé tactile et double vibration.
