BitFunx HDMI adapter for Dreamcast: the console on a recent screen
The Dreamcast is one of the few consoles of its generation able to output a progressive image through its VGA output. The BitFunx HD-Link adapter plugs into the console's AV port and transmits the image to an HDMI input, with the sound, without an intermediate box.
What it does
- Direct connection: the adapter slots into the AV port at the back of the Dreamcast.

The job: connecting the Dreamcast like a current console
You remove the original AV cable, plug the adapter into the port at the back of the Dreamcast and run an HDMI cable to the TV. No extra box, no SCART to hunt for: the console sits under the screen like any recent device, picture and sound on the same cable.
