Atari Gamestation Pro: over 200 games, including 138 Atari games, on your TV, wireless joysticks in hand
The Gamestation Pro by My Arcade brings together over 200 games: 138 licensed Atari games (2600, 5200, 7800 and arcade) and 63 bonus games outside the Atari catalogue. It connects to your TV via HDMI and is played with two 2.4 GHz wireless joysticks inspired by the original Atari joysticks, each with a paddle dial for Breakout or Warlords.
What it does
- Over 200 games: 138 licensed Atari games (2600, 5200, 7800 and arcade) and 63 bonus games, detailed below.
- 2 wireless 2.4 GHz joysticks: inspired by the original Atari joysticks, with a built-in paddle dial adjustable to three sensitivity levels.
- Saves: 2 slots per game in internal memory and 2 more on a microSD card (not included), on games that support it.
- HDMI output: HDMI cable included.
- Upgradable firmware: the manufacturer publishes downloadable updates (versions 1.20 and 1.30).
- RGB LED lighting: around the console buttons.
What it doesn't do
- No cartridge port: the game list is fixed and original Atari cartridges can't be played.
- Pitfall!, Pac-Man, Space Invaders and Defender are not part of the game list.
- The joysticks run on 4 AA batteries each, which the manufacturer doesn't list in the box contents; the USB-C cable that lets you do without them is not included.
- The mains adapter is not included: you need a 5 V 2 A USB adapter.
- The paddle dial has end stops: it's not a free-spinning spinner.
- Two joysticks, two players: no four-player games.
- No built-in screen: you need an HDMI TV or monitor.
What the game list includes
- 82 Atari 2600 games — including Adventure, Breakout and Yars' Revenge.
- 7 Atari 5200 games and 10 Atari 7800 games.
- 39 Atari arcade games — including Asteroids, Asteroids Deluxe, Centipede, Millipede, Crystal Castles, Missile Command, Tempest, Gravitar, Major Havoc, Food Fight and Warlords.
- 63 bonus games — 8- and 16-bit games outside the Atari catalogue.

Atari's history in a single menu
Collecting an Atari 2600, a 5200, a 7800 and the brand's arcade cabinets would take up a whole room. The Gamestation Pro puts over 200 games in one HDMI box: Adventure and Yars' Revenge on the home side, Asteroids, Centipede, Tempest and Missile Command on the arcade side. It's all in the menu, with no cartridges to hunt for.
Joysticks that double as paddles
The two wireless joysticks take on the look of the original Atari joysticks and include a paddle dial, essential for Breakout or Warlords. Its sensitivity can be set to three levels. It has end stops: games designed for a free spinner lose a little. Each joystick takes 4 AA batteries.
Licensed games, and save slots
The 138 Atari games are supplied under Atari licence, and the 63 bonus games are declared by the manufacturer: that's what puts it in our official and legal retro gaming section. The trade-off is that the list is fixed. On compatible games, you can save your progress to internal memory or a microSD card, and the firmware receives updates.
