Miss Fortune, captain of Bilgewater
Sarah Fortune holds Bilgewater in one hand and two pistols in the other: pirate port, leather, gold and gunpowder. The set keeps that warmth — deep red, the copper of her hair, the brown of the leather and a few golden highlights. A dense, fairly saturated palette without the dominant black of night-time sets, and it is that density which explains why the same set does not tell the same story depending on the keyboard. On a black case the reds gain depth and the keys stand out like isolated embers. On a white keyboard the contrast shifts to the outlines and the whole thing looks more graphic, closer to a poster. Two results, one set.
Fitting: twelve keys, a few minutes, reversible
This is the place to say it: nothing you do here is permanent, so you can try several layouts before settling on one. The puller supplied grips the key from the sides, straight up, without touching the visible face; the new one goes on by hand, without glue or soldering, and your original caps are back in a few minutes. Only two conditions: an MX cross-stem under the cap (Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu) and respect for the rows, the profile being OEM, each height belonging to one specific row. The material is PBT and the artwork is dye-sublimated (DYE-SUB).
What the set does not change about your keyboard
Changing twelve keys does not change the keyboard underneath: not the sound, not the travel, not the switches. It is not a keyboard either — you need one already, mechanical, with MX cross-stems, and membrane, low profile and proprietary stems are all unsuitable. Nor is it a full set of caps: twelve keys dress one area while the other rows stay stock, which counts when you compare the result on a white keyboard. The keys are not backlit, PBT being opaque, so the light travels around the cap. And the artwork is inspired by the League of Legends universe, with no connection to the game's publisher: this is not a licensed product.

How do I know whether my keyboard is compatible?
By pulling off a cap: if the switch stem forms a cross, you are on MX, the standard shared by Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh and Outemu, and the set clips onto it. Membrane keyboards and those with low profile keys are excluded, as is any proprietary stem.
What does the set contain?
12 keycaps and the puller used to fit them. The keyboard format makes no difference – 60 %, TKL or full size – since the point is to dress a chosen area rather than replace every row.
Does it need any particular care?
No. PBT wipes clean with a cloth and does not go glossy the way the original ABS does, including on the most used keys. The artwork is safe too, dye sublimation (DYE-SUB) placing the dye inside the material, out of reach of a cloth or a fingernail.
Black keyboard or white keyboard: what's the difference?
On a black keyboard, Miss Fortune's warm palette works through contrast, the reds look deeper and the twelve keys form a bright block in the middle of the rest. On a white keyboard the colours read flatter, the outlines of the drawing take over and the whole thing moves closer to a poster. Neither is better than the other.
Are twelve keys enough to change the look of the keyboard?
Yes, provided you group them rather than scatter them: concentrated on WASD and the ability keys, they form a visible, coherent zone. Spread one by one across the board, they mostly look like mismatched keys, and the palette loses its effect.
Is this set a licensed product?
No. It is an illustration inspired by the League of Legends universe, with no connection whatsoever to the game's publisher; it is therefore not a licensed product but a set of ordinary keyboard keycaps.
