Yone, a grey-and-white woodblock print on the keyboard
Yone comes back from the dead with a demon mask on his face and two mismatched blades. The character is not one for display: he moves calmly, and that register is what the set translates into grey, white and spectral blue, with the restraint of a woodblock print rather than the saturation of a poster. This pale palette is made for uncluttered setups: white case, light wood, a tidy desk, where the twelve keycaps blend in instead of shouting. On a black case the effect reverses and the caps become bright points in the middle of the keyboard. A set for players who like technical mid laners and desks free of visual noise.
A pale palette: legend legibility and grime
On a pale set, two questions come before all the others. Legibility first: the legends are applied by dye-sublimation (DYE-SUB), the dye sinks into the material instead of sitting on top of it, so no raised layer disturbs the linework and a fingernail feels nothing. Then grime: PBT is a harder, drier plastic than the ABS fitted as standard on most keyboards, and it does not take on the sticky shine that appears on the most heavily typed keys. As for fitting: MX cross-stems (Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu), OEM profile to respect row by row, puller included, reversible installation with no glue and no soldering.
What the Yone set does not include
A visual this calm can suggest a fully matched ensemble: it is not one. Twelve keycaps dress one zone, not entire rows, and the rest of the keyboard keeps its original caps, white or black depending on the model – the match is never total. The mechanical keyboard has to exist already: the set fits neither a membrane, nor low-profile keys, nor a proprietary stem. It is not backlit either: PBT is opaque, the light passes around the cap. Finally, this is an illustration inspired by the League of Legends universe, not a licensed product.

Will this set fit my keyboard?
It mounts on mechanical keyboards with an MX cross-stem: Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu. Pull off one cap and look at the switch stem: if it forms a cross, the set clips onto it. On a membrane keyboard, on low-profile keys or on a proprietary stem, the keycaps will not attach.
How many keycaps are in the set?
12 keycaps and a puller, to place wherever you like: WASD, ability keys or the function row. This is not a full set: the rest of the keyboard keeps its original caps, and the layout size (60%, TKL, full-size) makes no difference.
Do pale keycaps get dirty faster?
PBT is harder and drier than the ABS fitted as standard on most keyboards: it does not take on the sticky shine of the most heavily typed keys, and a slightly damp cloth is enough. The motif is not troubled by rubbing, since dye-sublimation (DYE-SUB) diffuses the dye into the plastic rather than laying it on the surface.
Does Yone's grey and white suit my keyboard?
On a white case the twelve caps blend in and the whole thing stays very calm, in the spirit of a tidy desk; on a black case they stand out as bright points in the middle of the keyboard. Since PBT is opaque, a fixed white or pale blue backlight accompanies this palette better than a colour cycle.
What does the illustration show, and what pairs with it?
A free graphic reading of Yone: mask, twin blades and a breath of spirit, in a register close to the Japanese woodblock print. It is an inspired design, not a reproduction of any in-game artwork. A second set in cool tones extends the whole without breaking the unity of the desk.
