The Sheriff of Piltover, down to the detail
Caitlyn keeps her city at arm's length: top hat, hextech rifle, and a trap laid ten seconds before anyone walks into it. The set translates that precision into pattern: Piltover blue-greys, the copper of hextech gearwork, the violet of the hat. It is a dense drawing made of small elements rather than flat areas, and that is exactly why it demands a clean print. On a white or light grey keyboard it stays in its orderly-city register; on a black keyboard the coppers take over. It speaks to the patient long-range player who prepares rather than improvises. The Caitlyn artwork is an original design inspired by the League of Legends universe, with no connection to the game's publisher.
A fine pattern needs a process with no thickness
A drawing made of small elements is unforgiving of print laid on the surface: the slightest thickened edge and the detail closes up. Here the pattern is applied by sublimation (DYE-SUB), the colour is diffused into the plastic instead of sitting on top of it, so there is no layer to wear away and no added thickness a fingernail could feel on the legend. The base is PBT, harder and drier than the ABS fitted as standard on most keyboards: it doesn't take the sticky shine of the most-hit keys. Mounted on MX cross-stem switches (Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu), OEM profile, fitted by hand with the included puller, no glue and no soldering, and reversible.
Neither a hextech keyboard nor a full key set
A whole-city theme makes you want a keyboard matched end to end: that is not this product. Twelve caps dress one area, WASD, spell keys or the function row, and the rest of the keyboard keeps its original keys; the format (60%, TKL, full-size) changes nothing. Your mechanical keyboard has to exist already: nothing to fit on a membrane keyboard, a low-profile keyboard or one with a proprietary stem. The legends don't light from below, PBT being opaque, so light passes around the key. And this is artwork inspired by the League of Legends universe, with no connection to the game's publisher, not a licensed product.

Will this set work on my keyboard?
It fits mechanical keyboards with an MX cross-stem: Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu. Pull off a cap and look at the switch stem: a cross, and the set clips onto it. On a membrane keyboard, a low-profile one or one with a proprietary stem, nothing will hold.
What do you get, and where do the keys go?
12 keycaps and one puller: the keys spread across the central area, WASD, spell keys or the function row. This is not a full set, and the keyboard format (60%, TKL, full-size) makes no difference.
Do fine details stay sharp on a keycap?
The pattern is diffused into the plastic by sublimation (DYE-SUB), with no deposited layer to thicken the outlines. On a small curved surface a dense drawing still reads better head-on than in raking light.
Which keyboard does this palette work on?
The Piltover blue-greys and the violet of the hat stay in their orderly register on a white or light grey keyboard. On a black keyboard the coppers come forward and the whole thing turns noticeably warmer.
Can the pattern wear off over time?
No: the colour has entered the material through sublimation, so there is no layer to chip. A soft, barely damp cloth is enough, without solvent, and PBT doesn't take the shine that appears on the most heavily used ABS keys.
Is this an official League of Legends product?
No. The artwork is inspired by the League of Legends universe, with no connection to the game's publisher, and not a licensed product. These caps remain ordinary keyboard keycaps.
