Ahri, the fox of Ionia under your fingers
Ahri is the vastaya of Ionia: nine tails, an orb she throws and recalls, a silhouette you recognise from a single block of colour. The set picks up her pinks and magentas, softened with white and lifted by a discreet gold on the jewellery. It is a warm, decidedly light palette that drops a coloured island in the middle of ordinary stock keycaps: twelve keys are enough to change the mood of a desk without repainting it. It speaks to the mid laner who spends evenings on the same champion and wants to find him under the fingers, which is where the OEM profile matters — the one that does not throw the hand off after two hours of play.
OEM profile: keep every key on its own row
The profile is OEM, the one fitted as standard on most mechanical keyboards on the market: each row has its own height and angle. That is the only real precaution when fitting, because a key installed on the wrong row is felt straight away under the fingertip, and far more so after two hours. Beyond that, the keycaps are PBT, a harder and drier plastic than the original ABS, which does not take on the shine of heavily typed keys, and the artwork is dye-sublimated (DYE-SUB), the dye diffused into the material rather than laid on top. They clip onto any MX cross-stem (Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu), by hand, with the puller supplied, with no glue and no soldering.
What this Ahri set does not do
Twelve keys do not repaint a keyboard: they dress one area — WASD, the ability keys or a function row — and the rest keeps its stock keycaps. Nor is it a keyboard: you need one already, mechanical, with MX cross-stems, not membrane, not low profile, not a proprietary stem. It is not a backlit set either: PBT is opaque, the light from the switch travels around the key and draws a halo, it does not pass through the pink. And it is not a licensed product: the artwork is inspired by the League of Legends universe, with no connection to the game's publisher.
Why this set is in our catalogue
We check every keycap set before listing it. Many never make it in.
Every keycap set is checked before it enters the catalogue: the real material of the keys, their profile, how well the legends hold up, the stem type and the exact number of keys supplied. Many sets never make it in, because the legends fade after a few months, because the stated compatibility forgets the keyboard's special keys, or because the box contains less than the photo. What this one can do, and where it stops, is detailed further down this page.

What this set contains

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this set fit my keyboard?
You need a mechanical keyboard with MX cross-stems: Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu. Lift one key and look at the switch stem; if it forms a cross, the keycaps clip straight on. On a membrane keyboard, on low profile keys or on a proprietary stem, there is nothing to be done.
What's in the box?
12 keycaps and a keycap puller. The keyboard format is irrelevant: 60 %, TKL or full size, it is always the same twelve caps, spread over the area of your choice, while the rest of the keyboard keeps its original keys.
Will the pink fade over time?
The artwork is dye-sublimated (DYE-SUB): the dye is diffused into the plastic, so there is no printed layer to wear away or chip off. PBT also resists the shine that appears on the most heavily used ABS keys, which matters on a light palette where any glossy patch would show.
Where should the twelve keys go if you play mid?
The most common layout dresses WASD and the ability keys, the ones the left hand never leaves during a mage game. That leaves a few caps for the function row or the item keys. Nothing is fixed, and the layout can be redone in two minutes.
Does the set work with an already colourful keyboard?
Ahri's palette is warm and light: pinks, magentas, white, a discreet gold. It sits well next to a black, grey or white keyboard, far less so next to caps already heavily saturated in another shade. If your keyboard is backlit, a static warm-toned light shows it off better than a multicolour cycle.
Is this an official League of Legends product?
No. This is an illustration inspired by the League of Legends universe and not a licensed product: no connection to the game's publisher. They are ordinary keyboard keycaps.
