Viper, the chemist's acid green
Viper does not win a duel, she denies ground: a poison wall, a toxic cloud, a map re-cut while everyone else pushes. Her colour is a heavily saturated, almost fluorescent acid green that looks like no other agent on the roster and is spotted from the far end of the desk. That is the green the illustration picks up, cut with black so it does not overwhelm the eye. On a black keyboard with green or lime backlighting the whole thing holds together; on a desk already full of red or purple the green fights back, and the rest is better toned down. This set speaks to the patient player, the one who sets his zones before shooting.
Where each keycap goes, and what makes them last
Let's start with fitting them, which is where most people get stuck. Caps Lock 1.75U (3.15 cm) sits left of the home row, Backspace 2U (3.6 cm) top right of the number row, Enter 2.25U (4.05 cm) right of the home row, and the spacebar 6.25U (11.25 cm) at the bottom; these widths match an ANSI layout. The 1U caps (1.8 × 1.8 cm) are free to place, WASD and Esc first. The manufacturer states 14 keys in total but does not publish the list of legends: the product photos are the only reliable source. Material: PBT, harder than the original ABS, with dye-sublimated printing diffused into the plastic.
This green does not glow, and other clarifications
A green this vivid suggests glow-in-the-dark material or a backlit set: it is neither. The dye-sublimated legends block the LED light, which stays visible around the keycaps rather than through them, and nothing glows once the lights are off. It is not a keyboard or a complete set of keys: fourteen keycaps on more than a hundred, the rest keeping its original keys, with a shade and texture that will not match. Compatibility is not universal: an MX cross-stem is mandatory, so no membrane, low-profile or laptop keyboard, and no Costar stabilisers for the spacebar.
